Refunds & Returns

This page explains our policy for custom and made‑to‑order board games purchased from Meople. Because each game is produced specifically for you, we generally cannot accept returns or issue refunds. That said, if something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

What’s covered
We will repair, replace, or refund (at our discretion) when:

Transit damage – The game or components arrive damaged.

Manufacturing defects – Misprints, missing pieces, major colour shifting beyond tolerance, incorrect assembly, or other production errors.

Incorrect or missing items – You received the wrong product/variant, or parts are missing.
Tolerance & colour disclaimer: Minor colour variation (screen vs. print), slight alignment variance (±3 mm), or normal material characteristics are expected in print manufacturing and are not considered defects.
What’s not covered

Change of mind after production has begun.

User‑provided content errors (e.g., typos, low‑resolution images, layout errors in your uploaded files).

Wear and tear from normal use.

Shipping delays or customs holds outside our control.

Unauthorized returns (items sent back without approval will be refused).
Report a problem (how to request a replacement or refund)
Please email help@meople.co within [14] days of delivery. Include:

Order number and delivery date.

Description of the issue (damage, defect, missing items, etc.).

Photos:

The exterior shipping box (show any damage)

The packing slip

A clear photo of the full item

Close‑ups of the defect/damage

For print defects, a screenshot of your artwork file (if applicable)

We’ll confirm eligibility and next steps within 2 business days. In many cases we’ll reproduce and reship your game; if a refund is preferred and approved, see Refund timing below.
Tip: Keep all packaging until we resolve your claim. The carrier may require it for an investigation.
Replacements

We’ll remake defective or damaged items at no cost to you.

Standard production and shipping timelines apply to replacement orders.

In some cases, we may ask you to return or safely dispose of the defective item.
Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your bank or card issuer to post the credit.

Shipping fees are refundable only where the entire order is defective or mis-shipped.
Order changes & cancellations

You can cancel or edit your order before it enters production. This window is typically [2 hours] after purchase but may vary.

Once production starts, the order is final and cannot be changed or cancelled.
Lost or delayed shipments

If tracking shows lost in transit, we’ll remake and reship after the carrier confirms the loss or a reasonable time has passed with no movement.

We aren’t responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
Returns address
We only accept returns with prior approval. If a return is required, we’ll provide instructions and the correct return address. Returns sent without approval will be refused.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects rights that cannot be limited by law. If local consumer law provides additional protections, we will follow those requirements.
